ABOUT OUR COMPANY

CSPI, a national nonprofit consumer advocacy group, has published the print edition of Nutrition Action Healthletter since 1974, and launched NutritionAction.com in October 2013 as a natural outgrowth of continuing to fulfill its mission to educate the public about nutrition and health, with practical advice on what to eat  and what not to eat. Our goal and mission is to help as many people as we can with direct and reliable information about the foods you eat.  We are completely independent, because we accept no advertising and take no government or industry money.  That way, we’re free to tell it like it is – we name names and provide you with specifics about what’s wrong – and what’s right – with hundreds and hundreds of brand-name packaged foods, fresh foods, and restaurant fare.
